SIGN POSTS
As we travel a new highway,
One we have not used before,
I think it is quite safe to say
A map we’d need, or more,
Like sign posts to show the way,
Especially if there’s many a turn
Where we could easily go astray,
Then be lost and weary and worn.
Our spiritual road is just the same,
We can easily go the wrong way
If we have no map, no where to aim,
But we have a map so we won’t stray,
And if we follow each signpost
Placed by t he Lord to show the way,
We will not want to follow the road most
Widely trodden, but in righteousness stay,
Even when it does dark we can pray
To read the map that will lead us
To our God and heaven one day.
