FAITH
How strong is my faith, will it pass the test of time,
Do I know that sins will be forgiven, even mine,
Will my faith hang on strong when everything goes wrong,
Will my faith enable me when all is not well to sing a song?

Come faith and plant thyself deep into my timid heart.
Give me strength and courage never from truth to part,
I want the faith to stand firm whatever may befall,
Faith enough to follow thee wherever thou shalt call.

Faith to walk barefoot across ice and snow,
Faith never to grumble wherever I may go.
Faith to stand for the truth in the things I do,
Faith enough to last me all my live through.

For with faith in my heart fear will flee away,
For I know He is with me in all I do and say,
Faith can become my shining star, glowing bright.
For faith dear Father, I beg for with all my might.
