IMPORTANT

Is religion important to the folks of today?
Does it matter if we serve God or we play?
Today’s philosophy seems all self and greed,
Just do your own things, of God take no heed.
Are most of us heading for destruction and sin
Because cold hearts will not let Jesus enter in?
Are we following the smooth path to hell
Thinking only of earthly pleasures as we dwell
On this pleasant land made for us by Him?
Do we think that religion is just some silly whim?
Security for the weak of mind and cowardly heart,
Thinking I’m strong, needing no God to do my part.
But when sorrow strikes or death draws near,
When trembling you turn to God in real fear,
Do you think He will answer you right away?
Just stop and think about that as you play.
