CHASTITY
Clean hands, a pure heart and unspotted,
Not soiled, no moral blemishes, untainted,
Body mind and spirit being clean in every way.
To follow the path of chastity is hard every day.

A chaste mind has not one evil or dark thought,
Thinks good of all men, does what has been taught,
Shuns things that will corrupt their sweet mind,
Will walk away from temptation, true peace to find.

To have a chaste spirit will keep you close to the Lord,
Always willing to hear His voice, follow His every word,
Listen to those promptings and so never go astray,
Satan cannot enter in, he has to turn and go away.

A body that is kept pure, till the marital vows are made,
Is like a perfect flower grown in God’s garden shade,
Not defiled or tarnished, but still pure in every way,
What a wonderful gift to give on your wedding day.
