ARMS OF COMFORT

No matter what may happen, comfort is at hand,
However hard the pathway, He will understand,
The strength of Gods Almighty arms are there
To support you and give you loving, tender care.

When our hearts were broken at the death of our child,
We felt His strong arms around us, yet gentle and mild,
We were cradled in his mercy, comforted by his love,
Tears washed away with a promise of being together above.

Losing almost everything because of no work for many a day,
Leave a loving family to care for a dying mother far away,
But oh the love that comes from a Father who feels our pain,
And always holding us close, until we are whole once again.

He feels our joys and sorrows, knows our thoughts and deeds.
Waiting there with arms outstretched, our hurt He really heeds,
We just need to invite Him to share the anguish that we feel,
And then, oh the bliss that comes when He begins to heal.

Always totally trust in the God who has made heaven and earth,
There is no better caregiver we know, noone of greater worth
Than the Father of our spirits and His precious beloved Son,
So if we have Them beside us, all our battles will be won.
