LET HIM IN
Is Jesus standing knocking at the door of your heart?
There’s no latch on the outside, you have to do your part,
Open your life to His teachings, be willing to let Him in,
Then He’ll wipe away your sorrows, wash away your sin.

He’ll knock so very quietly, then gently, sweetly call,
How patiently He waits for you, He’ll not give up at all,
So open up your heart, feel the Saviour’s everlasting love
And He will show you the way to your mansion up above.

Let Him in and feel the blessings, be reborn in Him anew,
Go forward knowing Jesus, be surprised at what you can do,
Let Him in and know God’s love, watch it grow in your heart,
Let Him in and you will know the best way to do your part.

Then how your light will shine among all your fellow men,
You’ll be as brave as Daniel, when thrown into the lions den,
For when you let Jesus into your whole life, heart and mind,
You will always want to be helpful, never cruel, always kind.

Listen as He knocks and calls at your heart every day,
Please let Him come in, then invite Him to always stay,
Then gather others around you, help them to let Him in,
And He will promise that you eternal blessing will win.
