STATIONARY OBJECTS
The other day while dusting and tidying around,
Doing things quicky, a curious mystery I found,
Things that are solid and have no legs to move at all,
Manage to move around whether they be great or small.
It was beginning to drive me crazy, more than I was before,
Something I put firmly on the shelf was on the kitchen floor!
A Pair of shoes together ready to go into the shoe box
Had wandered of somewhere to find a pair of socks.
The pictures I all straightened and put in a tidy line
Changed when I turned my back, moved again I whine.
The vacuum picked up all the dust and crumbs off the floor,
But when it was put away there seemed a whole pile more.
So before I hit the roof and went right around the bend,
I came and wrote this poem, so make the problem end!
