        BLANK SHEETS OF PAPER
When I see a sheet of blank paper my heart skips a beat,
For hidden on there are ideas, the world is waiting to meet,
It’s up to me to find what is silently waiting on there,
Maybe something of interest or a message to share.

A blank computer screen, to me, is the very same thing,
A story or poem onto blankness I must surely bring.
What about a story about childhood days of long ago?
Or how the currents of the rivers and streams to flow.

If you have a lap top why not carry it about everywhere,
Then ideas will come as on that blank screen you stare,
Or a notebook or sheet of paper will work just as well,
Seeing that empty page does for me work a little spell.

This page is nearly full and ideas have come to my mind,
I know that on the computer an empty screen I will find,
Or somewhere around the house are notebooks for me,
I don’t think I will stop no I’ll write through eternity.
