TIE STATEMENT
There are ties and then are TIES!
Some are mundane, others a surprise,
Modest stripes going this way or that
Depending which continent you are at.
Sombre ties that are so dull for all to see,
There are ones with Taz and Bugs Bunny,
Micky Mouse and friend Donald Duck
You may see these with a little luck.
But one colour ties are the ones for me,
Deep blue tie and white shirt speaks dignity,
A blue shirt with a grey tie with a glow,
True artistic taste does somehow show.
Then there are ties coloured bold and bright
That filled the viewer with sheer delight,
A vivid yellow tie bright as the noonday sun
Will help your day be filled with lots of fun.
A bright red tie, not a Christmas one I may add,
Will stop someone from feeling down and sad.
Bright green on a winters day will surely cheer
And many a chuckle the wearer may often hear.
Not to mention lilac, purple or mauve ties,
Or bright orange so that you cover your eyes,
Please men of fashion do not be mundane or dull,
A solid bright tie off the rack this morning pull.
