WARM COZY BOOTIES
Sitting near a heater or a lovely glowing fire,
Are a pair of warm cozy slippers, just waiting
To warm a pair of busy feet that never ever tire
Of doing good, carrying a body that is so caring.

Here they come, those two feet I’ll keep so warm,
Thinks the booties, as they are very quickly put on,
Yet warmed feet don’t keep still, won’t listen to a yarn,
But are still busy around the house serving everyone.

Now I, the booties, are the happiest at the end of the day,
When, after a short rest and all the work is at last done,
Then as I bend as the owner humbly kneels to pray,
Then I am lovingly removed and sweet rest to all does come.

Good Night, think the booties
Thank you for a wonderful day.
