MY NEW WARDROBE
All our friends know, a mission we wish to serve
And things are happening Im not sure I deserve,
Some of my friends tell me they have put on weight,
Almost new clothes to throw away they would hate.
Pretty blouses and tailored suits and sweaters too,
Most fit me just right and they look as good as new.
Not many new clothes will I have to go out and buy,
The cost of a new wardrobe could nearly reach the sky.
Another blessing I can see as I wear each lovely thing,
Ill remember their love and friendship, and so joy bring
As we are far away from home, serving the best we can
Telling people we dont know of Gods eternal plan.
Thank you friends, thank you for caring for me,
Lets all stay close to the gospel and share eternity,
Friends forever, when we meet again, our task is done,
We will all meet together, well tell of battles won.
Simple acts of kindness mean so much to me,
Good things never die they last for eternity,
However great or small. its the thought that counts
And then put into action, see how the blessing mount.
