Gifts of goodness from God’s wonderful earth,
A home where love abounds day after day,
This is living a life of true great worth,
Plus a loving God to direct your way.
A good friend to share a cumbersome load,
A mate with a heart full of love and care,
A day when love, goodness and mercy flowed,
This is life worth living, worth being there,
Worth the many days when things go all wrong,
For that makes days worth living seem brighter
And fills your grateful heart with a sweet song,
So helps another’s sad heart seem lighter.
        So look for things worth living for today,
        Be mindful of the things you do and say.
