A SET 0F HAIKU NO: 2

Birds singing sweetly
In the blossomed cherry tree
Wakes me every day.

The patter of feet,
Children outside at their play,
The silence when gone.

Falling torrents splash
The sidewalk as thunder rolls
Echo forever.

A lost child crying,
A mother screaming in pain,
Parted in sorrow.

Joined laughter and tears
As old friends meet one more time
Before last farewells

When anger strikes hard,
Words flow like poison venom
Into every heart.
