More poems about Spring

SPRING IS COMING
The soft breeze in the trees is calling
spring is coming,
The disappearing snow is saying
winter is dying.
The lapping of gentle waves whispers
warm sun is here,
Birds sing more cheerfully, proclaim
spring is very near.

No creature can deny, winter is fading away,
The earth is rejoicing as cold loses it’s sway,
Gone now winters icy grip, springs gentle touch
Is coming fast, the warm we all love so much.
Farewell fair winter with your icy cold beauty,
Welcome spring that sets the resting earth free.
