SHOWERS
April showers in September quiet pleasant to see,
Refreshing parched earth, as dry as it can be,
Yet not enough to fill lowered lakes back again,
Or quench large forest fires from pain,
The air smells sweet and clear, everywhere washed clean,
It showers while the sun shines, a rainbow glows bright,
To me it is always such a lovely comforting sight,
Now the sky is blue, the sun is free from cloud,
They no longer float into an ominous shroud.
