        NOISY BOATS
I watched over the quiet lake the other day
Saw the boats going there own sweet way,
Some are rushing, bouncing, bounding,
Breaking the silence of nature resting.

Then I saw a yacht sailing in silent grace,
Keeping astride of the gentle winds pace,
No noise spoilt the beauty anywhere around,
It blended with nature so great joy was found.

Those very fast boats I feel gives no joy at all,
They disturb all creatures make them wildly call,
Not think of others as they speed around the place
Upset the balance of natures sweet restful grace.

A couple quietly fishing in a small rowing boat,
Caused to sway and toss, difficult to stay afloat,
Swimmers fight the waves caused by the speed,
Of the little children they don’t seem to take heed.

I like to find a lake where no speed boats roar,
Where I can gaze in peace, this I do implore,
Please do not bring a noisy speed boat here,
So I can feel the very best nature so very near.
