ANIMALS IN THE GROVE
As we wandered quietly along the paths laid out,
We saw many animals and birds flitting about,
Squirrels running on branches, a bunny in the grass,
A racoon in a tree stopped to watch us pass.
Many different birds singing in the lofty trees,
The quite rustle of the leaves in the cooling breeze
It seemed just right that nature should be there,
Like being part of a sweet heartfelt prayer,
There was confirmation that God knew this place,
His presence almost tangible, full of His sweet grace.
Try and make a trip to the Sacred Grove one day
Other than at pageant when the crowds are far away,
Then the spirit will envelope you with tender love
And youll feel the closeness of beings from above.
