HEROS -JOSHUA
Joshua the valiant, Mose’s right hand man
Worked hard, always followed God’s plan
Then Moses passed away before entering
The promised land, what trials that did bring.

Joshua a man mighty on each great battle field
As the sword of truth and justice he did wield,
Divided the river Jordan to walk on the dry land
Held the water back with God’s power in each hand.

Battle after battle for God and his people won
Then came the battle that was hard to overcome
The great battle of Jericho, a strategy was found
That had those walls tumbling to the ground.

Joshua taught wisdom organized the tribes well,
Gave rules and regulations in peace to dwell,
His last words to Israel before he passed away,
Would be a good lesson for us to follow today.

Remember we are a covenant people always,
That God blesses us if we follow His ways,
Serve only God, and the Lord always choose
Is we follow Joshua’s advice we can’t loose.
