        WHAT IS REQUIRED
Ideas from D & C 11: 17- 30

What is required of me my work to know,
Direct me Lord, please thy wisdom show
To Thy seeking child to find the way
To serve Thee well, every single day.

Keep the commandments, that always do
And keep the peace so love comes through,
Seek and find the Holy Spirit, find your part
And cleave unto me with all your heart.

Bring light to those in darkness, shine bright,
Declare My words with all your might,
Learn well yourself before others you tell,
Do these things and all will be well.

Then a priceless gift will I give unto you,
The power of God more than you ever knew
To the convincing of men unto my ways,
And joy shall fill your heart all your days.

Deny not the spirit of revelation sweet,
Nor deny my prophecy that you greet,
Treasure truth and wisdom to gain eternity,
Thrust in your sickle as you work for me.

We have in the scriptures the words of God
To lead guide and direct as onward we plod,
We as Saints of Latter-days are blest indeed,
For we have scriptures for our every need.
