UNDER THE WEATHER
Sometimes you feel under the weather,
Out of sorts, not quite right or well at all,
You cannot really put your finger on it,
If you stand too fast you may even fall.
It is not a dose of the flu or even a cold,
You dont have a fever, what can it be ?
Lethargy and debilitating, no get up and go,
Yet of any other symptoms I am quite free.
Could it be all the junk food over the holiday,
Or the riches extras that we munched upon?
Even working put at the gym seems hard for me
I dare not get on the scale to see what Ive put on.
Its only once a year we make that silly excuse
To over eat this time of year many an extra treat,
Until we feel quite uncomfortable and not too well,
At least until the next holiday, Ill watch what I eat.
