NEW YEAR WISHES
The old year dies shrouded in white winter beauty,
Sun shines and sparkles on pure snow lovely to see,
Night began with bright stars, also a dying moon,
As the new year enters in sweet peace, then soon
When day begins, the new year comes alive
Let us hope the peace of the night will survive
The whole year through, at least peace of heart
And of mind, by choosing good in our small part.
Peace for all mankind, all be free from hurt and pain,
A true peace we pray that will soon forever reign.
A happy, a healthy and a wholesome new year,
Filled with friendship, love, contentment and cheer.
May no evil come to your home through day or night,
And the pure love of the Master shine ever bright.
This New Years wish we send to you far and wide
And may the light of Christ be your constant guide.
