A WORKING MOTHERS DAY OF BLISS

When you work full time at an outside job,
Cleaning house becomes quite special.
You wake up early and make the floors shine,
Polish all the furniture with sweet scented pine.

Do a pile of baking, rush and do the shopping,
Wash the kitchen, make it look like new,
Clean all the windows, hang washing on the line,
That is if it does not rain and the wind blows fine,

Time to tidy the cupboards, make some jam,
Tidy the book shelf and the computer desk.
Then soak in the bath tub so you smell so sweet,
After all the things you’ve done you deserve a treat.
