A WONDERFUL GIFT.

Of all the gifts given to man
The greatest of all I deem
Is that of a loving family,
One that always has a dream.

Families are a mixture of folks
Living together side by side,
Mom and Dad and children,
Sticking together, nothing to hide.

For all have faults and failings,
All different in some way or other.
Looks, feelings, the way we act,
Some just like dad, others like mother.

One thing they have in common,
Is a love bond strong and true,
Then as the family grows
That love with still show through.

As each leaves home and marries,
A spouse of their very own,
The example that they’ve had
Should dwell in their home.

So there should be sweet harmony,
Patience, and true love abound,
If each heart is kind and unselfish,
Within this family, God’s love is found.
