A DAY OUT WITH MY GIRLS.
A happy day of many memories fond,
Going around the city and often going wrong.
Off to the art gallery so we can gaze
At different art that sets our hearts ablaze.
We laughed and giggled like silly school girls,
Like when they were young with long black curls,
Often going the wrong way, but having fun,
Finding ourselves back where we had begun.
It was good to be together, doing the bonding thing,
You have to do it to know the joy it can bring.
So find things to do with your children now grown,
For they are still part of you, still your own.
