PRAISE
A word of praise, a pat on the back
Is as important to a child as their food
If not praised for effort they will lack
The confidence to know that they are good.
If they can say loudly, I am a child of God,
And believe it with all their young might,
Keep that vision as through life they plod,
Then we’ll know we’ve done things right.
