BATHING BABY
Bathe a baby in water to keep her body clean.
Bathe her in love, so she will not grow up mean.
Bathe her in wisdom, so she will be good and wise.
Bathe her in the gospel, so she’ll have love in her eyes.
Bathe her in kindness, so she will know she can be divine.
Bathe her in patience, for growing up takes a long time.
Bathe her in understanding, so she will know you care.
Bathed in these virtues she will be inwardly truly fair.
