THOUGHTS ON FATHERS
DAY
Kind and loving fathers are a treasure
indeed,
The ones that seem to meet a child’s
simple need.
A provider and supporter and a
firm friend,
A man to rely and on whom the family
can depend.
A father willing to play with the family
in love,
Willing to fly a kite until it vanishes in skies
up above.
Willing to build sandcastles or make a
paper plane,
One that will really fly high down the old
back lane,
A father that is an example knowing he’ll not
lead astray
The family in his care but show them the
right way.
So on this fathers day lets us make a fuss
of them,
Show them by word and deed they are your
precious gem.
So happy fathers day to all who do their
great part.
Let them know we love them with each
beating of the heart.
