        WORDS OF COMFORT
Cruel death has no sting and the grave no victory,
For we know that the Saviour died to set us free,
We know there is a heavenly home waiting above
And a dear Father has arms stretched out in love.

Families can be together through His wonderful plan,
And through the pain and grief vision this if you can,
Meeting and never parting when one is called home,
Being a forever family around our Father’s throne.

May His comforting arms now gently embrace you,
Hold your hand this hard, aching time all through,
Until the tears are all shed and healing comes your way
As you remember His eternal love through each day.

Listen and you’ll hear His voice in the gentle breeze,
And feel the healing balm in the rustle of the trees,
Like the answer to a prayer the healing will come,
And as the love flows the painful battle will be won.

May God bless and comfort you, friends and loved ones too,
All be there beside you, and you will come smiling through,
Think of the Plan of Salvation and the promise to us made,
Then after the hurt of parting’s gone, no one will be afraid .
