UNFAIR TO WOMEN
I dont know why there are no quilted lined shirts
Made for average women, the thought really hurts,
In the winter when one is skinny not much fat to warm,
You want to wander outside, women can come to harm.
My husband has a pile of them all snuggely as can be,
So I went into the store to look to find, I could not see
Any at all for women, not even a small in mens size,
So I bought a medium its tooo big but what a prize.
I look thirty pounds heavier but I dont really care,
Its lovely and warm, for Im always cold everywhere
But not this morning I can sit and type and not freeze,
Buried in a quilted shirt in which another could squeeze.
Please shirt makers, remember women who feel the cold
And make quilted shirt small enough for one to hold,
Fastening on the female side so we do not fumble,
And that I do declare would stop many a female mumble.
