WILTED FLOWERS
Visiting Victoria in the hospital the other day
There were some wilted flowers, she did say
Take them home Nana they will soon be fine,
So I did not doubt that sweet grandchild of mine.
All that day and night they stayed the in cold car,
Even more wilted than before maybe gone too far
To be revived and to be alive and pretty again,
When we arrived home, some water they did gain.
One by one the flowers lifted each drooping head,
Even after two days the sturdy flowers were not dead,
Now they look like new so vert colourful and bright,
On the dining room table they make such a pretty sight.
This made me think of those who have gone astray,
Never give up for they may return to the fold one day,
Just like Victoria whos courage is strong and true,
Keeps on smiling whatever she has to go through.
