SUNNY SUNDAY
It is Sunday morning, the sun is shining bright,
But big ominous clouds linger still in sight
After the night rain, which will win through,
I think we need a sunny Sunday, dont you?
Although it is cool it is a lovely morning,
Yet things can change without warning,
The wind will help the cold roll away,
Or it could bring them closer today.
But we will make the most of the shining
And the bright blue sky and silver lining,
The lake merrily dancing with sweet delight,
A wonderful free gifts and a cheery slight.
The grass is still green, dew sparkles so bright
It makes miniature rainbows in the sunlight,
Wake up, enjoy the gifts on this Sabbath day,
Go to worship the Lord and reverently pray.
