More poems about Missionary Work.

        MISSIONARY WORK
Every member a missionary prophets have said for a long while,
We nod our heads saying, ‘that’s a good idea’ with a smile,
Yet how many Book of Mormons have we given out of late?
How many times have we had the missionaries for a dinner date?

Pass-along cards are so handy and are easy to give them away,
When you do a kindly deed by helping a stranger out one day,
Find out their name and follow up to show your concern
A little bit of trust and sweet friendship hope to earn.

Then let the missionaries know and have then follow through
For being a good Samaritan is what we should often want to do,
Offer a stranger a pamphlet or a book of Mormon as you go by,
If they say, no, at least you can look the missionaries in the eye.

Dare to be a missionary we know the gospel is steadfast and true,
And to tell others about it is really up to members like me and you
If we do not try our best the consequences can be so hard to take,
So from this moment on to Father above a missionary pledge make.
