More poems about Beauty Spots.

        BRAIDED BEAUTY
Braided colours of green on undulating hills
Stretching ever onward in never ending rills
Of simple glory as far as the eye could see,
With a backcloth of bright blue of great beauty.

Enhancing the scene where meadows of green
And crops waiting to be harvested also seen,
Every twist in the road gave us other delights,
I cannot recall ever being blest with such sights.

The Rockies were great and grand, tall and strong
With breathtaking beauty they carried you along,
But the gentleness of the beauty before our eyes
Will be held in our hearts as a great, glorious prize.

As we thought no more lovely things could be seen,
A glimmer of a lake between the trees, pure and clean
Came into our view like a final crown of glory bright,
Each reflection was perfect a double treasure of delight.

Wander down road 567 and gaze and take everything in,
Wonder at the magnificence and new appreciation win
Of the sweet beauty of nature, it’s never ending grace,
Years afterward the memory will put a smile on your face.
