NATURES TAPESTRY
Although I love the city-scape with its
glass skyscrapers tall
And the power of man who planned and
structured it all,
In Toronto with gilded and bronzed windows
and the CN tower,
Overlooking lake Ontario, glass and concrete
seen every hour.
Yet to me it cannot compare at all to natures
wonderful tapestry
Displayed in chaotic order with many different
scenes to always see.
Rolling hills most of them covered with trees lakes
and meadows sweet,
They catch the eye of my imagination as adventures
I want to meet.
In the rocks at the side of the road, no order or
symmetry is found
Multifaceted shapes, I see a running hare and
a chasing hound.
Wild blueberry bushes tempt you to stop, freely
pick for awhile,
Then remember that moment when you eat a good
pie and smile.
