More poems about Fathers.

BEST DAD EVER
Some children say father and others call him dad,
Little kids say daddy, and their young faces are glad,
Our family say daddy-waddy, a term of dear endearment
And with honour and affection it is often said or sent.

Brian, I am so glad that you are the father of each child
That we were blest with, born so humble and mild,
The good example you set, always love and respect for me,
The kind of love in a family that always aught to be.

The fun times when they were small that bound us as one,
The kind of upbringing that helped us to always carry on,
Being honest and kind, full of a deep and eternal love,
All wanting to be a family forever in sweet heaven above.

Thank you for the loving, and your special caring ways,
Thank you for the support through the harsh, hard days,
A father worthy of the title, be it father or dad or daddy,
Caring and the love still abounds so in heaven we want to be.

Together forever with a righteous father leading the way,
May I say how much I care for you on this your special day,
May the blessing of heaven above crown you with glory,
Posterity will love you as our children tell each lovely story.

Stories of the beach and us all fighting the mighty seas waves,
Climbing up the Rockies, reading two hundred year old graves,
Stories of the Christmas story with dad the best donkey ever seen,
If fact with teaching goodness and honour, the best dad to be seen.
