THE SEALING POWER OF
THE PRIESTHOOD
We have a wonderful gift given through
priesthood power,
To be together forever as we live worthily
hour by hour,
To be sealed on earth, bound in heaven, so
that we may be
Prepared to live with Father above
through eternity.
Step by step we tread along the path
of righteousness,
Seeking truth, finding Christ, baptism,
His name confess,
Then confirmation, and the sacred temple
endowment,
Then the climatic gift of sealing
is then sent.
The power that made the heavens and earth,
makes flowers grow,
That gives us breath and life, gifts from Father
who loves us so.
He has given to the priesthood that special
sealing power,
So if we strive always, He on us His eternal
blessings ever shower.
But only in the holy temple can this gracious
gift be given,
The only place where things sealed on earth,
are bound in heaven.
