More poems about The Sky

A PAINTED SUNSET
The sunset has been painted by some hidden artist brush,
A picture pf great beauty, so let us stop awhile the rush
Of life and gaze at the sky at ti’s glorious distant rays,
See how long colours linger, the glow how long it stays,
There is a shade of purple which I cannot give a name,
A hundred colours of pink for the sky is never the same,
A golden glow fills the scene, how many pause to see
Such beauty given in such love and resplendent majesty.
