WHAT WOULD HAPPEN
I wonder what would happen if I didn’t
take my pills,
Would I have another heart attack, relive
all the ills
That comes from not rattling like a
castanet,
Leave the pill untouched on top of
the cabinet.
I must admit it would be nice to go
a day or two
Without the need of heart pills go
right through,
Not worry about my clotting time,
but I have too,
For I cannot see the point of being
sick anew.
So I will suffer and take my pills, hope
my heart beats on
Until the time appointed that my time
is all done.
In heaven there’ll be no pills, no sickness
there at all,
So a pill popper I’ll have to be and not
moan and bawl,
