THEIR 3RD MISSION
Our parents are true marvels, a wonder to behold,
Off to serve a 3rd mission, bring more souls to the fold,
Oh, the great example they set for the whole family,
Because of them all of us will be blest for eternity.
Sacrifice their time and talents, miss our togetherness,
We know we will miss them a lot we all do confess,
Yet sacrifice brings forth the blessings of heaven,
And where much work is done, much back is given.
We will smile through our tears as we all say farewell
As off to New Zealand they go for awhile there to dwell,
I know the people in that fair land will love them so,
For you were chosen of the Lord, but this you do know.
We see you enduring well, serving all the while,
We will all bask in heavenly Father’s loving smile,
We will pray and send our love and all our caring too,
Our hearts will be with you your whole mission through.
