More poems about Spring.

        SPRING BLOOMS
Sitting by the window now as days are longer,
At last the rays of the sun are getting stronger,
No need to draw the curtains to keep night out,
For the weather has improved without a doubt.

The daffodils and tulips will be soon in bloom,
They will wipe away all thoughts of winter gloom,
The crocus are already showing purple flowers,
All this has happened during cold sleet showers.

The brave spring bulbs never seem to let us down,
They struggle to bloom with their own majestic crown,
Spring has to fight hard to bring her glory everywhere,
But it is worth the effort when the world looks so fair.

Once again nature, like us as we strive to win through
To overcome evil and much good and kindness do,
Takes effort and endurance to overcome all things
As beauty and kindness great joy always brings.
