More poems about Prayer

        BEING IN TUNE
Some times things happen that we cannot explain,
After a prayer, the freedom of all hurt and pain,
Finding a path when lost that should not be there,
There’s a great deal of love in the power of prayer.

You phone a friend, for, you think no reason at all
But she needed you and was waiting for you to call,
A voice tells you to go home along a different way,
It is really surprising how prayer helps you each day.

Bake an extra pie and there is someone in need,
A silent prompt to do a little thoughtful kind deed,
Give a stranger a ride, find you an answer to prayer,
You listened to the voice that called you out there.

Say a prayer at the start of the day, to guide you aright,
Hope that you serve well and go on, fight the good fight,
With a sweet prayer in your heart you are never alone,
Be prompted to write, visit or just call on the phone.

Safety and many blessings will oft come your way,
As you remember the Master and serve every day,
Keep Him close, as you often and sincerely pray,
As in tune with the spirit you will constantly stay.
