More poems about Beauty Spots
I LONG
I long for some pristine lake by some
lofty trees,
Where wild life wanders free and the
gentle breeze
Carries the clean sweet air and the call
of the loon,
And no earthly lights dull the brightness
of stars and moon.
Nature stands supreme in this wonderful
serine place,
With sunsets that overwhelm with both
beauty and grace.
Stillness steals in perfectly to heal the
heart and mind,
A spot closer to His heaven would be very
hard to find.
I long to see an eagle glide on stealthy
silent wing,
Looking with brights eyes at every small
moving thing.
Taste again the wild berries that seem to
grow everywhere.
And gaze at a mighty moose in fall just
standing there.
Northern Canada where the busy world seems
to stand still,
And Gods creatures great and small wander
at will.
It is there where beauty surrounds you on
every side,
And the tranquil solitude brings peace thats
hard to hide.
