This note book Ive been using lasted almost a year,
Along with a couple of others with this were not near,
Used to write in when from the computer I did roam,
Then Brian and I had to load them when we were home.
A good and faithful friend has served me very well,
But looking on the pages I wonder how we could tell
What had been written on bumpy roads and pencils low,
But between us we always managed to somehow know.
Only two more pages and this notebook can go to rest,
Bought on a trip to the east coast, its been one of the best,
Even used for hangman as on the long trip we did go,
I promise Ill use every page for I think that should be so.
I will not throw it away, for a great part of me is there,
Ill put in it a posterity box and hide it away somewhere,
Then someone may try to read it, think it in shorthand,
For Im not very sure, if anyone my scribble can understand.
