QUESTIONS FOR MOTHERS
Please read this on Mother Day and answer truthfully,
Have I been a good mother and tried with love be free?
Been kind and thoughtful in all I do and everything I say,
Shown my children how to tread the truthful way?
Was I there for them when they needed me right there?
Did I teach them the importance of sweet daily prayer?
Have I been a mother worthy of each childs love so sweet,
Or will I be ashamed of myself , when the Judge I meet.
Have I been a good example, could they really follow me,
So know the path to glory striving to live always worthily
Of a place in heaven. If not I have failed my God indeed,
The job is more than giving birth, then clothe and feed.
A mother is a hundred things as any busy mother will know,
A nurse, doctor, friend, a shoulder to cry on, the list can grow,
A love that nurtures trust, strict enough to have rules to live,
And a mother should never run out of all that she can give.
