More poems about Poetry

        WHAT TO WRITE WITH
A little stub of a pencil can write a poem or two
As long as the inspiration does come flowing through,
It may be hard on the fingers, also hard to try and read,
But it is better than letting ideas fade and to nothing recede.

A ball point that is all gooey and leaves blobs on the page
Can write a sonnet of beauty but cleaning your hands can take an age,
Think of Shakespeare and the old quill pen, yet he did manage
To write hundreds of sonnets and plays put on the stage.

Even a crayon or felt tip will work to get the ideas down,
Don’t put off thoughts until at the computer, then wear a frown
Because there is an empty space where precious words should be,
Come on, grab any writing implement and write some poetry.
