        WRITER BLOCK
Writers block can be a pain, the cupboard bare,
Each compartment empty it, gives you a scare,
Especially when most times ideas flow as free
As a river cascading down to the mighty sea.

You would think there would be something there
To trigger an idea or two in the fresh spring air,
A stirring of the heart, so a poem comes to light,
Inspiration of profundity and of great insight.

In there hidden deep I feel a little awakening,
Maybe through this day a poem will spring
Into fruition and blossom like a rare rose,
I just hope it does not come out as prose.
