        A PRETTY DRESS FOR EASTER
Although I want a nice new dress for Easter but money is tight
And the prices of the ones I like seem to zoom right out of sight,
But in the mall today in a store was a pretty window display
Showing spring fashions, Brian said, lets take a look anyway.

I tried one on, it fitted well I must say, it was a small size ten,
But the colour was not quite right, although I liked the pattern
I thought I would get away without buying anything right now,
Until he showed me a lilac pink one I knew he’d won somehow.

We really could not afford to buy me a pretty new Easter dress
But that wonderful husband of mine, did quite firmly say yes,
Now hanging in my closet all ready for that special Easter day
Is my new two piece skirt and blouse that so kindly came my way.
