WINTER DO NOT FOIL
At Home Hardware, the garden section
was open again,
Many potted plants were found too
numerous to name,
The pleasing fragrance wafted cold
winter right away,
From then onward, though quite dull,
it was a brighter day.
Green shoots are showing bravely
through the soil,
I hope winter will not the progress of
sweet spring foil,
We saw two pair of robins a wonderful
sign of spring all around,
I would not to like to awake in the morning
To find snow on the ground.
