LAUGHTER
There is something magical when there
is laughter in the air,
It is contagious and can cheer people
around everywhere,
There is an old saying that tells that it
is the best medicine,
And not to have it in ones life should be
counted as a sin.
Burdens are lightened, it can start with
a little smile,
It helps you keep on trudging along a
tiring, weary mile.
It is a wasted day, we are told, if a laugh
comes not our way,
For laughter is the sun that washes the pain
of rain away.
