A MOTHER’S LOVE
There is a deep and sacred feeling,
it’s called a mother’s love,
This love comes before each child is born,
waiting for this gift from above,
Then that special moment when the child
you first gently hold,
The love increases in your tender heart
more than a hundredfold.
It is a love that lasts forever, and grows
richer day by day.
When the time comes for each precious
child to leave home,
Going off to university, get married or off
on a mission to roam,
That mother’s love is packed away in
the luggage somewhere,
Right close beside you in all you do,
linked together by prayer.
A mother remembers that you are hers as
a loan from a God above,
And whatever happens all your days, there
will always be a mothers love.
